JYT CLIENT Updates

As of right now, our plan is to reopen the training facility Monday May 4th!

The tentative plan will be to hold two hour training blocks that will allow 9 clients to train within these time periods. We will also build a schedule for people to train so that we do not have over flow of people. This will be the safest/best way until we can get back to flex scheduling.

Also, we will be cleaning and taking all precautions necessary to make the facility the safest possible environment possible!

I will be in touch with you all very soon with complete details.

I appreciate the support and patience from everyone during this time!

Happy Easter everyone, hope all is well and and you and your loved ones are healthy and safe!

​I just finished up Easter Breakfast (Eggs, Toast, Coffee), Easter Egg Hunt, Finding the kids baskets, and doing coloring some eggs. I just got a second to sneak away down in my new temporary creation room (aka my office) down in our basement to upload the 2nd Month of the Home Workout Program. I hope this is the last month of these and that we can return to the facility soon...I'll do everything in my power to make that happen for us all! 

I spent a lot of time on this program this week, it's basically the same format but a whole new workout for you...It's sick but not like coronavirus sick...Be sure to complete Month 1 before you start this!

If you haven't already seen/heard, my landlords wife and JYT Success Story Maureen Long had Covid-19 and was in the ICU and on a ventilator for two weeks. She's home now recovering, but I know a lot of you know her. She was not coming to the facility to train while she contracted the virus just so that we're clear. Anyways, she wrote a letter to the news since she can't talk. I shared the letter on my Facebook page yesterday. But I'll share it below. If you have her number or are friends with her on Facebook, feel free to shoot her a message! She really loved working out and getting to see all of you as well!

JYT Tracks works are canceled until further noticed
The first goal of coaching is to keep your Athletes & Clients safe while training. And in the past 24-48 hours, I've decided it's best to stop these workouts for now as Mahoning County now has the highest deaths from Coronavirus. Even though we were being as safe as possible and the workouts were going great and people were just excited to be outside, I know this is the right thing to do and I have honor my code of coaching and safety. I still encourage you to keep training and going to your local track if it is still open. And if I feel it's safe enough to coach again in person before I can open the facility, I will let you know ASAP!

For the record, this was all internal realizations and nobody told me to stop hosting these Outdoor Activity Workouts.

I've been receiving a bunch of amazing news that Team JYT is still going strong even though we can't train together in the facility!!!
Just keep going!

Also, I will be creating the 2nd month of the Home Workout soon! It will be a whole new workout!!!

As of now (noon), the weather looks good for tonight's outdoor activities at the Hubbard Track! 
 
I plan on holding two more workouts there this week, Thursday and Friday from 5-6 p.m. as the weather looks good for those days.

Stay posted, I'm going to try and host a "outdoor activity" Monday and Tuesday at from 5-6pm at the Hubbard Track which is located on Hall Avenue. There will be a Social Distance Fitness Workout and a Social Distance Speed Class. It's been great seeing your faces and I'm beyond pumped that you all have been enjoying these workouts until we're allowed back into the facility!

So that taco seasoned ground turkey that we made for dinner last night, I whooped 6oz of it in a bowl with 2 eggs and some cheese to make Sunday Breakfast along with 2 slices of whole wheat toast and some coffee!

Again, it's easy and extremely cost effective to keep your meals from getting boring and stale.

This was dinner for us tonight. I wanted to share this fun lean meal with you. This is taco seasoned ground turkey, over lime flavored jasmine rice. We just topped it with some light cheese (extra goodness), corn, and salsa.

It's super easy to make and it tastes good especially if you put your own spin on it.

​With the leftover ground turkey, you can make it into a good high protein breakfast too!

Team JYT, I’ll be at the Hubbard Public Track tonight at 5:30 for an outside “Social Distance Outdoor Activity” for those who would like to join me 6 feet away from each other!

I know we’re supposed to be inside doing our home workouts, but getting outside on a nice day will go along ways to keep our mental health in check too!
